How Can You Pray For Us
The road to renewal always begins with prayer. Throughout biblical and church history, every spiritual awakening rooted itself with corporate prayer. Therefore, CIFC recognizes that above all, the most strategic action one can take to create a climate of renewal is to foster prayer with one another for the Holy Spirit to convict hearts in the NYU campus.
Students/Chaplains/Faculties: We invite you to join us every Friday morning to pray for our campus collectively to pray for God to move on our campus. Please see our calendar for more information.
Prayer Support
We recognize that we cannot do this in our own. There is an “Adversary” that seeks to kill, steal and destroy any work of God’s kingdom. So, we ask for prayer support for these things:
Unity:
There are over 40 Christian clubs and fellowships on campus. Please pray that there will be a heart for unity among all the varying ministries within NYU.
Wisdom:
Although we are a group of college students and chaplains with passion and vision, we recognize that we lack wisdom. Please pray that we can grow in discernment of God’s will to learn how to minister to this campus effectively.
Strength:
We are called to show God's love, grace, and compassion through our daily actions. As students constantly challenge themselves to improve academically and spiritually at the same time, discouragement and exhaustion can easily creep in. So, we ask for continual encouragement to be faithful and diligent to our call.
Conviction:
Most importantly, God’s truth and love to be recognized and known throughout the campus.
